Monarch butterflies are first caterpilliars and they hang in a J shape. A caterpilliar is changed into a chrysalis. A chrysalis has a lovely colour. The caterpilliar transform into a butterfly. The butterfly struggles out of the chrysalis and attaches to it. After about 6 hours </div><br /><div>when the butterfly's wings are dried it flies away.
